Thanks i have a 2003 gmc sierra 1500. This has happened to my canyon twice before. The buttons from the drivers side for the passenger side do not work either but the drivers side window and lock work fine. The switch for the passenger window does work though as well as the power locks and power mirror adjusters so i know the door has power.

2007 silverado ltz 4 door drivers side windows don t work but passenger side windows work fine from the master switch even after replacement. Then i ran a hot wire to the green wire in the harness and plugged the switch back in and it works. Same problem on my 2001 2500hd. Another thing i just noticed is that when i put it in drive it will lock.

Also the power mirror adjusts the drivers side but not the passengerside. And got a new switch. The window is stuck in the up position thankfully but whenever i push the switch to roll it down nothing happens. Gmc power window trouble shooting is not difficult but it requires knowledge of the system.

Odd that i have 4 5 volts at the plug to the window motor when the switch is activated even with the new switch and 12 volts to the switch and the window lock out does not stop the other switches from. The hot wire must have broke in the door jam. I jumped the connection and got the window to work so the motor aint bad.
